Sustainable Flowers and Organic Containers & Gardens
Premium flowers and organic materials are our medium for creating sustainable, stunning luxurious floral arrangements and designs. We view flowers as living art and work closely with our clients to understand their aesthetic in translating their inspiration into breathtaking design that is elegant, unique and timeless.
Our style is often described as “organic luxury”, bringing unexpected combinations of premium blooms and natural elements together to create lush, floral compositions designed to elevate each event and exceed expectations
We also offer concierge floral design services to create luxurious flower designs for weddings, corporate/retail spaces, special events and floral workshops.
Our flower arrangements and designs are inspired by nature and the seasonal availability of flowers. We work with only the freshest, premium seasonal and unique flowers along with interesting foliage. Blooms such as peonies, dahlias, ranunculus, anemones, orchids, hydrangeas and roses are beautifully accentuated by textural spires, pods and vines such as delphinium, allium, astilbe, scabiosa, clematis and craspedia to create visually stunning and unique floral arrangements and designs for events, weddings or to celebrate everyday. The result is certain to elevate your environs as well as your spirit.
By sending our flower clippings and other organic materials to compost piles and re-using glass vases, we are able to significantly limit materials heading to the landfill. We choose not to use plastics or other formaldehyde floral foams in our designs and packaging. We feel it is our responsibility to be environmentally minded and are strongly committed to finding better ways to improve the way we do things. We practice organic methods in planting and caring for our containers and gardens as well as minimize waste in our operation.
Please give us a call to schedule an appointment. We travel throughout the New England area and beyond.
Kristen is the designer/owner who is extremely passionate about flowers, gardens and sustainable design. She holds a M.S. and Ph.D. in Agricultural & Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis and has worked throughout California's San Joaquin valley with Growers and Irrigation Districts to improve water quality before moving back to New England. After spending years in the corporate environment, she decided to reorganize her life and pursue her love of flowers and sustainable design.
If you have two pennies, spend one on bread and the other on a flower. The bread will sustain life. The flower will give you a reason to live.
